Storytelling is how Communities hold on to traditions and Black Women want to be the narrators of our own stories and SHE Shows Up brings you amazing stories of Black Women from across the Globe! Hosted by Detangled’s Co-Founder Nia Weeks, our crew spends time learning and engaging with Dynamic Black Women who do amazing and unique things! From Black Women Cowgirls and surfers to African Royalty, each episode is packed with amazing adventures, new experiences and gives audiences a new perspective on how amazingly diverse and interconnected Black Women are! Real talk from Black Women all over the world!
Cyber Justice
Cyber Justice brings together middle and high school students from across the globe to create one-minute videos about social issues that they are passionate about, with the goal of inspiring others to take action.
- Cyber Justice is an internship offered to middle and high school students from across the world with a variety of tech skills and abilities, but all with a desire to learn even more.
- We bring social justice advocates, tech leaders, and art visionaries together to present an array of information to participants, which will culminate in them producing self-guided media projects around the issues that are important to them.
- The intent is for participants to walk away with an understanding of what social justice issues impact them and their communities, a set of skills on how to organize and uplift those issues to a larger audience, and projects that they will be able to present to a larger audience.
- The program provides participants the opportunity to actively engage in increasing the profile of issues children face in school and community.

Detangling The South
This 5 part feature film on the history of Civic Engagement across the South (Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia and Florida from 2 Black Women Justice Attorney’s perspective as part of an effort to film social media engagements to mobilize Black Women in Louisiana to show up in the 2020 election. Through interviews with Black Women Doctors, Homemakers, Business Owners, Social Media Influencers and elected officials across the Deep South we got the opportunity to tell our own stories about how Black Women have shown up and need the country to in turn do the same.
Film and Tool Kits
Art and Activism work in tandem and therefore, for each film we produce we also create Film Toolkits and Discussion Kits. We employ a cutting-edge model of engagement focused on creating online strategies rooted in upliftment, entertainment, education and organizing into real-world action on behalf of issues that impact us as a community.
Thinkific
As we learn and create, we also create opportunities to teach. We are committed to perfecting our engagement model using modern technology and tried and true real-world methods. Since our inception, we have worked with our clients to ideate, organize, and execute a multilayer digital engagement strategy with the aim of producing results addressing deep rooted issues. Through Thinkific, we give organizations, corporations, and communities the opportunity to learn the lessons we have learned through an engaging and fun curriculum based on our films, activations, and online productions.
